Building better people, the way people built me

Coaching found me the way most good things do: through the people who invested in me. Every coach who pulled me aside, every trainer who got me back on the floor, every teammate who held me accountable — they showed me that the game is bigger than the score. Now it's my turn.
As a graduate assistant with UNLV Men's Basketball, I work on both sides of the game: the preparation that happens in the film room and the development that happens on the court. I break down opponents, help build scouting reports and game plans, and get on the floor for practices, individual workouts, and player development sessions.
The part I care most about is the relationships. I know what it's like to be the transfer who got told to leave, the guy whose confidence is gone and thinks it's his fault, the player focused on everything he can't control. I've been every one of those players, and I know what each one needs to hear. That's what I bring to a locker room.

A player's perspective
I've competed at every level of college basketball and professionally overseas. I understand the portal, the fight for minutes, and the adjustment to a new system, because I lived all of it.
The science behind the game
My kinesiology and psychology background means I see player development as a whole: movement, recovery, mindset, and confidence. I want to help players get better in ways that last, not just in the next drill.
Culture in the details
Basketball is a team sport and every player matters. I build trust one conversation at a time, hold guys accountable, and make sure every player on the roster knows he matters.
Discipline and grind
Nothing in my career was handed to me. I got to every level by out-working the room and staying consistent when results were slow. That's the standard I hold myself to and the standard I ask of the players I work with.
Faith and character
My faith is the foundation of how I lead. I coach with patience, integrity, and real care for people beyond what they do on the court.
My coaching philosophy focuses on holistic development, consistency, and fostering relationships. Creating a supportive yet disciplined environment where athletes can thrive. Consistency is a core value, how you do anything is how you do everything. I encourage athletes to focus on the little things, stacking good days to build long-term success.
